GHANA - Featured Destination
This month our featured destination is Ghana, an English
speaking country, situated on the southern coast of the West African bulge.
Ghana is a stable Democratic Country, safe for travel.
The amazingly
diverse cultures are evident with over 75 different African dialects spoken in
current day Ghana. The World famous Ashantis are the largest tribe in
Ghana and like all the other tribes, are steeped in culture and tradition.
Ghana has more Colonial Slave Castles and Fortifications than any other African
country and many are recognised as UNESCO World Heritage sites and many are
still in a wonderful condition for an emotional exploration.
Ghanaians
are widely regarded as the friendliest people of Africa. Their kindness and
willingness to accept you and share with you their culture and history is
second to none. Couple all of this with Ghanas beautiful, palm lined
golden beaches, amazingly diverse wildlife, bird life and biodiversity, makes
Ghana a must for any holiday.
